Bigcommerce has finally hit the jackpot with their first truly fantastic theme in years: Theme Valiant. This gem stands out as the best theme yet, featuring a brilliant left-hand side menu with a dropdown for large catalogs. The design breaks the mold of typical Bigcommerce themes, offering a fresh, creative layout. In my humble (but correct) opinion, it’s the best-designed theme ever on the Bigcommerce platform. Looking at other Bigcommerce developers, it often feels like a game of “Copy the Cornerstone Theme” – where creativity goes to die. They tweak it slightly and then try to cash in big time. What Bigcommerce really needs are more creative developers like the team at DIT Interactive. These guys are the real deal, crafting themes that are truly great and inspiring. As a South African end user, I haven’t seen much change since Bigcommerce was bought out. Back in the Aussie days, they at least had a decent payment gateway for South Africa. Now, they advertise gateways that don’t even work here. It’s like they’re not even trying to understand what actually works in different countries. So, a big shoutout to DIT Interactive for an amazing theme. Keep up the great work!
